System requirements

This topic provides you with information about the system requirements for the installation and execution of the d.3one integrations. The common basis for all products is the application server with d.3one. The chapter d.3one (application server) describes the general system requirements. For all other specific and client-side system requirements, see the chapter d.3one in the browser in this documentation.

It is taken for granted that there is a running d.3 system if you want to install d.3one. For information about installing, configuring and managing the d.3 server and d.3 repository (d.3 archive) see the respective product documentation.

Please refer to the central system requirements for d.velop products (on-premises). You can find deviating or more extensive system requirements in the documentation.

Support is only granted for systems matching these requirements.

d.3one (application server)

The following minimum requirements apply for d.3one application server:

Server operating systems:

Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2
Microsoft Windows Server 2012
Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2
Microsoft Windows Server 2016
Microsoft Windows Server 2019

The Microsoft Windows Small Business Server and Microsoft Windows Server Essentials operating systems are not supported.

Required applications and services:

Internet Information Services (IIS): matching the supported Windows Server operating system.
d.3 server Current version:
- If you also want to watch individual documents or dossiers, you may have to enable the feature in d.3 admin.
d.3 search: optional. At least version 3.0.0 Hotfix 6. If you want to use the full-text search functionality, d.3 search is required.
d.3 presentation server: optional. Matching the d.3 server version. At least version 1.2.4. If you want to automate business processes using workflows in d.3one, d.3 presentation server is required.
d.ecs pdf extension: minimum version 1.4.3.
Microsoft .NET Framework: Version 4.7.2.
IIS URL Rewrite module: minimum version 2.0.

d.velop infrastructure components (d.ecs infrastructure)

With d.velop software manager you install the required d.velop software components from the Current feed: Select the product Infrastructure under Select product.

Prerequisites for the d.3ecm system environment

Warning

In combination with d.3one Current, you have to use d.3 server version 8.2.0 Rising Release 16. You need to make sure that d.3 server and d.3one use the same d.ecs http gateway app. You also need to ensure that all d.ecs jstore instances operate in the cluster.

This chapter provides you with the specific system requirements for installing d.3one on the user's devices. All general system requirements are listed in the chapter d.3one (application server).

The performance of browsers may differ. If you notice that your selected browser is slow, you can use a different recommended browser.
